Phoenix end season in difficult 72-36 loss

The Oberlin Phoenix concluded the 2009-10 basketball season with a 72-36 loss to Smithville at the Division III Sectional in Wooster on Wednesday night.

Bremke places sixth at District competition
Mason Bremke, 189, a two-time District Qualifier, earned a sixth place finish at the Division III District wrestling tournament. Bremke went 2-3 on the weekend and failed to qualify for the State Tournament.

Phoenix play Smithville Wednesday
After a disappointing end to the regular season, the Oberlin Phoenix are hoping sectional play will end differently.
The team will be playing Smithville High School tomorrow evening beginning at 5 p.m. at Wooster High School, located at 515 Oldman Road.
