Each fall during the high school soccer preseason, the local (county) schools come together for some game-like condition action.
This year, the recently improved Oberlin High School athletics complex hosted the event for the entire county -- more than a dozen teams playing across three fields.

Olivia Pfeifer, 11, of Oberlin, a catcher and third baseman for North Coast Spirit 12U travel fastpitch, recently competed in the Midwest All-Sanctioned World Series of Softball in Columbus on July 23-25.
