Other volunteers are worthy

To the editor:

Michele and I would like to thank the News-Tribune and Oberlin Heritage Center and all of our fellow Oberlinians for the gracious reception and recognition held for us as Oberlinians of the Year.

We are grateful to be a part of this community and thankful that we can (hopefully) make a small difference through our efforts. We appreciate so much the efforts of countless others that volunteer along with us at the various events and activities. They, too, are just as worthy.
