Seventh-graders at Lake Ridge Academy helped clean up the Legion Field Community Garden on West Hamilton Street on Wednesday for their annual all-school day of service. The students installed a new plastic fence to keep out deer, filled beds with compost, pulled weeds, and organized compost bins. Lake Ridge students visited parks around Lorain County, helping each location clean up their gardens.
