• June 3 at 2:27 a.m.: A Morgan Street man said he chased off a prowler rummaging through his car. The suspect stole $4 from the vehicle.

• June 3 at 6:30 a.m.: A break-in was reported in an attached garage on Hollywood Street.

• June 4 at 4:28 p.m.: A push lawn mower was reported stolen from a Park Street yard.

• June 4 at 10:26 p.m.: Two men, one with a handgun and the other with a butcher knife, barged into an East Lorain Street apartment and demanded money. One of the men drank iced tea while the other tried to duct tape the home’s occupant to a chair. The victim said he escaped from the apartment and when he returned the suspects were gone. Police searched but did not find anyone matching their description — the first a 6 foot 1 inch black man and the second a 5 foot 10 inch Puerto Rican man, both of slim build and wearing red bandanas over their faces.

• June 5 at 3:34 p.m.: Costume jewelry and glass items were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Locust Street. The victims said they had intended to sell the items at a flea market.

• June 6 at 4:56 p.m.: A missing 15-year-old boy with autism was returned to his parents.

• June 8 at 10 a.m.: Police investigated a situation involving the sale of a 1999 Chevy Cavalier by a man who had not owned the vehicle and who, after taking money from a buyer, did not turn over the vehicle or title. The suspect returned only a portion of the sale price to the buyer, a police report said.

• June 9 at 12:49 p.m.: Joshua Fairplay, 18, of Oberlin, was charged with domestic violence. A 14-year-old may also face charges.

• June 10 at 3:37 p.m.: Bikes were reported stolen on Groveland Street.

• June 10 at 4:16 p.m.: Regina Canada, 30, of Amherst, was arrested on a warrant through the Lorain police department for violating a protection order.
