• July 6 at 6:13 p.m.: During an investigation into an alleged assault, police found bruises on a juvenile’s arms. A police report detailed claims of physical and mental abuse.

• July 7 at 1:16 a.m.: During a traffic stop, a driver fled his vehicle and evaded police in the woods near Parsons Road. Officers searched with a K9 but did not find the suspect. The vehicle was impounded.

• July 8 at 2:33 a.m.: Terrence Williams, 23, of Elyria, was charged with no operator’s license and possession of marijuana.

• July 9 at 10:27 p.m.: Police investigated the theft of a $500 television from Wal-Mart.

• July 12 at 6:25 p.m.: A juvenile was reported missing. A day later, he was found in Brunswick with his mother.

• July 13 at 1:55 p.m.: A backpack was reported stolen from Oberlin College.

• July 13 at 4:37 p.m.: Benjamin Rogers, 28, of Akron, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court.

• July 14 at 3:15 p.m.: A wallet was reported stolen at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.

• July 15 at 7:50 p.m.: A three-year-old girl was reportedly left home alone on South Park Street for about an hour.

• July 17 at 6:09 p.m.: Police responded to a report that a large group of juveniles was about to fight at Pleasant Street Park. Officers found about 50 kids surrounding two girls who were fighting on the ground. One girl fled into the woods but was caught. The incident was forwarded to the county juvenile court.

• July 18 at 8:52 p.m.: Nicholas Kotab, 25, of Lorain, was charged with driving without a license. Police found he had 16 license suspensions, failure to reinstate statuses, and license forfeitures.
