• Aug. 12 at 2 p.m.: A woman reported $300 in fraudulent charges on her credit card.

• Aug. 23 at 3:40 p.m.: Theft of $200 in cash was reported from a vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

• Aug. 13 at 7:14 p.m.: Police said they felt threatened when a man on Groveland Street made finger-guns at them from his porch, even though it was clear he did not have an actual weapon. When they returned to the house to serve him with a misdemeanor summons, the man was no longer there.

• Aug. 13 at 11:15 p.m.: Officers responded to an unruly juvenile complaint on South Street. The boy said he snuck out of his house and got into a fist fight. He said his mother pointed a knife at him when he returned home. The mother denied that portion of the story.

• Aug. 14 at 10:45 a.m.: Demario Marshall, 22, of Lorain, was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court through Lorain County 911 on an original charge of trafficking in drugs.

• Aug. 14 at 6:06 p.m.: A female juvenile was arrested when police investigated a stolen iPhone.

• Aug. 15 at 10:40 a.m.: A man reported prescription medication stolen from his vehicle at Wal-Mart.

• Aug. 15 at 1:16 p.m.: A wallet was reported stolen from a car at Pleasant Street Park.

• Aug. 15 at 6:32 p.m.: A woman reported a call from PayPal claiming she owed $4,346 but she had never opened a PayPal account.

• Aug. 16 at 3:46 p.m.: A woman reported a secret shopper scam.

• Aug. 17 at 12:30 p.m.: Kevin Gembka, 23, of Elyria, was served a bench warrant for contempt of court.

• Aug. 19 at 2:20 p.m.: A 34-year-old Wellington man was stopped after driving erratically through town. While he failed a field sobriety test, there was no indication he’d been drinking. He told police he did take prescribed medication and submitted to a urine test.

• Aug. 20 at 2:07 p.m.: Kimberly Teodecki, 24, of WEllington, was charged with theft from Wal-Mart.
