POLICE REPORTS


• Aug. 31 at 10:24 p.m.: Nicholas Wilcox, 34, of Avon, was charged with possession of drugs. The arrest came after a report that he pulled into an East Lorain Street driveway appearing intoxicated and belligerent and “looking for money,” according to a resident there. Police noticed Wilcox’s shoes were on the wrong feet and untied but said they didn’t detect alcohol.

• Aug. 31 at 11:46 p.m.: A counterfeit $100 bill was reported at Certified Gas.

• Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m.: After Oberlin College security reported a stolen pair of sunglasses, Oberlin police took four juveniles into custody at Pleasant Street Park. The sunglasses were found in the grass nearby, a report said.

• Sept. 4 at 6:54 p.m.: Several juveniles were detained on suspicion of breaking a glass basketball backboard at Pleasant Street Park.

• Sept. 4 at 8:25 p.m.: Briceida Alvarez of Wellington was charged with theft. She is suspected of taking two full carts of merchandise from Wal-Mart in Oberlin.

• Sept. 5 at 8:46 p.m.: Oberlin College security turned over a grinder and bag containing suspected marijuana to Oberlin police.

• Sept. 5 at 9:32 p.m.: A man said two suspects offered to sell him crack at his apartment building on East Vine Street.
