Children piled into the Oberlin Public Library on Monday to see a special exhibit on reptiles and amphibians by Carlisle Reservation Metro Park senior naturalist Mary Ewers. She talked to students about the difference between the two types of animals and showed pictures and skin of the animals. Ewers allowed each child to feel the inside of a turtle shell and a snake’s skin. The children even received a close-up look at a frog and water turtle.
