POLICE REPORTS


• Sept. 29 at 8:53 p.m.: A man banged on the back door of the Oberlin police station and reported finding a woman lying in blood on the floor of the Oberlin Public Library, where he was cleaning. The woman had slashed her wrists but was found alive. She was taken to Mercy Allen Hospital.

• Sept. 30 at 2:07 p.m.: Smoking devices and a grinder with suspected pot residue were turned over to police by Oberlin College security.

• Oct. 2 at 7:10 p.m.: Police were notified of a bathroom sink that had been “ripped off the wall” at Concord Manor, where a large Alcoholics Anonymous party was being held.

• Oct. 2 at 12:30 p.m.: A woman reported damaged to her 1996 Buick, which she believed were caused by a large group of juveniles.

• Oct. 4 at 11:18 p.m.: A bong, grinding devices, and suspected marijuana were turned over to police by Oberlin College security.

• Oct. 4 at 1:45 p.m.: A girl at Oberlin High School said a boy slammed her head into a locker and held her there. The matter was forwarded to the county juvenile court.

• Oct. 5 at 12:08 a.m.: Sarah Powers, 35, of North Ridgeville, was charged with aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony. She is accused of attacking a woman inside a Groveland Street residence, waking her up and dragging her from her bed. The attack reportedly happened because the victim had refused to sell prescription medication to Powers.

• Oct. 6 at 5:28 p.m.: Bottles of suspected marijuana and a grinder were turned over to police by Oberlin College security.

• Oct. 6 at 8:26 p.m.: A large bong with suspected pot residue was turned over to police by Oberlin College security.

• Oct. 7 at 6:44 p.m.: A backpack was reported stolen from a truck parked at Oberlin High School.

• Oct. 8 at 7:22 p.m.: A woman from Washington, D.C., reported clothing stolen, saying it disappeared while she was staying at the Hotel at Oberlin.

• Oct. 9 at 12:15 a.m.: Charles Sees Jr., 22, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and BAC.
