Burnett
Gayle Patricia (Perkins) Burnett, 74 of Wellington died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010 at Cleveland Clinic following a period of declining health.
Mrs. Burnett was born in Oberlin on June 24, 1935, the daughter of the late Glenn and Marguerite Perkins of Wellington. She was a 1953 graduate of Wellington High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
She was a member and past president of the Wellington Golden Agers. She was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2051 and American Legion, Spirit of 76, Post 8. She also volunteered for the Lorain County Metro Parks and was a driver for the Wellington Senior Citizen Bus Association for many years.
Mrs. Burnett was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Cyndi (Dennis) Dininger of Polk; four grandchildren, Denise (Jeremy) Dininger-Mulkey of Polk, Daryl (Jessica) Dininger of Nova, Eric (Sandee) Dininger of Fairfield Calif., and Trevor Dininger of Ashland, Ohio; two great grandchildren, Autumn and Ashton Mulkey; sister, Glenda (Roger) Hyde of Greenwich, and a brother, Gordon (Cheryl) Perkins of Wellington. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother. Gary Perkins.
