Martin
Antonio P. Martin of Oberlin died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at University Hospital in Cleveland. He was 45.
Born Oct. 12, 1964, in Detroit, Mich., he worked as a carpenter and as a cook for Quick & Delicious Restaurant. He was a member of the Almighty Church of Oberlin.
He enjoyed building things, drawing, travel, and caring for senior citizens.
Mr. Martin is survived by his daughters Grace N. Anderson and Hope P. Anderson, both of Richmond Heights; grandson, Tristen I. Randleman of Richmond Heights; brothers William Michael Martin of Olmsted Falls, Robert (Connie) Martin and James (Stephanie) Martin, both of Detroit, and Donald Martin of San Diego, Calif.; and sisters Annie P. (Michael) Martin-Duke and Mary Martin, both of Detroit. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Emma Martin; and sister-in-law, Virtue Martin.
Local visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Cowling Funeral Home, 228 S. Main St. Further service will be handled by O.H. Pye III Funeral Home in Detroit on Feb. 6.
