2:42 p.m., Dec. 1: An officer responded to Langston Middle School for a menacing complaint against a juvenile.
1:49 p.m., Dec. 2: An officer observed a vehicle back out of a parking space, cross the center line, and drive a short distance southbound in the northbound lane. The officer initiated a traffic stop and smelled alcohol on Donald Pope, 43, of Oberlin, who refused a breath test, Pope was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and blood alcohol content test refusal.
10:02 a.m., Dec. 3: Oberlin College Safety & Security reported a trespass complaint.
11:47 p.m., Dec. 3: Oberlin College Safety & Security reported license plates stolen from a vehicle parked in the parking lot at Mudd Library.
3:37 p.m., Dec. 4: A burglary was reported in the 100 block of East Lorain Street.
5:58 p.m., Dec. 4: A juvenile trespass complaint was received from South Professor Street. The juvenile was released to a parent, and the matter was referred to juvenile officer Lt. Kevin Scalli.
8:58 p.m., Dec. 5: An officer took a report of theft at the DeCafe Restaurant at Wilder Hall.
3:03 p.m., Dec. 8: Oberlin High School reported a menacing complaint.
2:40 p.m., Dec. 9: An officer responded to a complaint of unauthorized use of a vehicle. The vehicle was recovered on Dec. 10.
3:59 a.m., Dec. 10: An officer responded to Wilder Hall for a report of breaking and entering.
8:34 a.m., Dec. 10: A subject reported domestic violence.
12:30 p.m., Dec. 10: Antonio Tyus, 19, of Oberlin, was arrested on a bench warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for contempt on an original charge of theft.
11:55 a.m., Dec. 11: The Oberlin fire department reported a theft.
1:14 p.m., Dec. 11: The Cleveland police narcotics unit called regarding a suspicious package.
4 p.m., Dec. 11: Paula Jones turned herself in on an indictment for six counts of theft. She was transferred to custody of the Lorain County sheriff's office.
10:41 a.m., Dec. 12: Criminal damage was reported at Eastwood Elementary School.
3:36 p.m., Dec. 12: Officers responded to a report of an unruly, suicidal juvenile. The matter was referred to juvenile officer Lt. Kevin Scalli.
9 p.m., Dec. 12: An officer observed an unoccupied vehicle parked in the fire lane at Wal-Mart. A registration check showed the owner was wanted on a warrant through the North Olmsted police department of a traffic offense. Upon returning to the vehicle, Christopher Rucker, 34, of Oberlin, was taken into custody and transferred to the custody of North Olmsted officers.
12:53 a.m., Dec. 13: An officer reported to the Lorain County jail to serve Jeffery Perry, 46, of Elyria, with a bench warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for contempt.
2:25 a.m., Dec. 13: Oberlin College Safety & Security reported a trespass violation. Kevin Jones, 24, of Oberlin, was arrested for criminal trespassing.
11:27 a.m., Dec. 15: Officers responded to Barrows Hall for a complaint of menacing by stalking.
8:58 p.m., Dec. 13: An officer took a theft complaint.
6:14 p.m., Dec. 15: A subject reported a theft. The matter was referred to juvenile officer Lt. Kevin Scalli.
8:22 p.m., Dec. 15: Wal-Mart reported a shoplifter. An officer responded and arrested Stacy Grills, 31, of Wellington, for theft. She was released on personal recognizance bond.
2:17 p.m., Dec. 16: A South Main Street business reported a theft.
4:18 p.m., Dec. 16: A Main Street business owner reported a theft from the business.
12:05 a.m., Dec. 17: Dedrick Montague was arrested in the 300 block of South Main Street on a bench warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court for contempt on an original charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was released on $2,500 cash bond.
12:22 a.m., Dec. 18: Officers responded to Berger Court for a possible domestic dispute and arrested Carlos Frias, 20, of Lorain for unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was given a $650 personal bond, then released to Amherst police officers for an entered warrant.
10:39 a.m., Dec. 18: An officer responded to the 400 block of South Professor Street to investigate a possible domestic violence complaint.
7:20 p.m., Dec. 20: James Rider, 51, of Oberlin, was arrested in the 100 block of South Main Street for a bench warrant through the Avon Lake Municipal Court. He was released to Avon Lake police officers
