Oberlin city schools and H&R Block have teamed up to present "Oberlin City Schools, School Income Tax Forum." The forum will be held Monday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m. at Oberlin High School. If you have questions about filing school taxes, this is the place to get your answers. The program is free and open to the public.
Eastwood: As part of our effort to better integrate the different aspect of International Baccalaureate into Eastwood, murals have been hung on the hallway walls. Each mural is fashioned after a different animal of the world, and each one features a different IB learner profile, (communicator, inquirer, reflective, caring, etc.). Our thanks go to Martha Ferrazza for designing and creating these murals and to Sandy Wood who did the lettering on them.
Prospect: Students from the fifth grade gifted reading class took it upon themselves to take action as a result of their recent unit of inquiry on "Sharing the Planet." The students realized that we throw away many items in the cafeteria and established a recycling program. That is not where their action ended. A letter was written to the administration on changes they would like to see in the cafeteria procedures and administration has agreed to meet and discuss the possible changes.

OHS: The OHS Academic Challenge Team (Erie Shores Champions) heads to LCCC for the PAC Scholastic Challenge Thursday, Jan. 28, at 4 p.m.
