College hosting softball clinics in February

The Oberlin College softball program is hosting two separate clinics on Feb. 21 and Feb. 28 in the state-of-the-art Williams Field House.

The clinic on Feb. 21 is for girls in grades K-4, while the clinic on the 28th is open to girls in grades 5-8. Each clinic will run from 1-4 p.m. and the cost to attend is $40 per person.

Each clinic is designed to develop softball players through a competitive, yet fun atmosphere. Participants will learn fundamentals in hitting, fielding, throwing and catching, in addition to more advanced skills such as specific positions and strategies.
