Council is working in unity

To the editor:

I write to express appreciation to members of Oberlin’s city council for working harmoniously and cooperatively on several recent issues. These include discussions and actions related to mobile food vehicles, medical marijuana facilities, minimum wage for city employees, the Tuskegee Airmen of Oberlin, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, and President Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement.

I think most Oberlinians want to see a city council that works together to reach agreement on issues whenever possible.

It’s great to see that happening.
