To the editor:
I’m writing to say that the city of Oberlin is fortunate to have eight candidates for city council this year, all of whom have impressive qualifications.
However, my service on council with two of them in the past (Ronnie Rimbert and Bill Jindra) prompts me to highlight both as excellent choices for your vote. Neither is a one-issue candidate and both have demonstrated their commitment to the core values of Oberlin. To mention a few, they are concerned about infrastructure improvements, social justice, and approaching all of the city’s concerns with sustainability in mind.
Be sure to vote and to consider both Ronnie and Bill.
