Senior Lauren Garcia’s lone goal in the first half Saturday was not enough to defeat the Columbia Raiders, who sealed a 4-1 victory over the Lady Phoenix.

Columbia scored three goals in the first half. Meanwhile, Garcia finished off a pass from Rhiannon McKee.

Oberlin goalkeeper Kenzy Tallman had 16 saves on the night but could not stop the Raiders from scoring in the second half as they finished one more shot to seal the win.

The girls fell to 3-8 on the season.

The Lady Phoenix could not find their rhythm last Wednesday and dropped a 4-0 loss to the Brooklyn Hurricanes.

The girls will travel to Buckeye to face the Bucks at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
