Erin Frenk and Sam Sparks combined for 26 points Saturday in a Patriot Athletic Conference rivalry match-up, boosting Wellington to a 52-24 win over Oberlin in girls hoops action. The Dukes, building on home court advantage, had runaway first, third, and fourth quarters in the blowout, topped by the Phoenix only in a deadlocked 4-6 second period. Aszure Chamberlin tried to rally the Oberlin team, which she led with nine points, and Victoria Jackson had her back with another six; Bryanna Rivas, Kiah Fields, and Bailey Wallace each walked away with three points. The Dukes’ scoring was rounded out by Alexis Lehmkuhl’s eight points, Jalen Gibbs and Lexi Wright with seven apiece, and two each for Hope Diermyer and Meredith Becher.
