• Nov. 12 at 8:39 a.m.: A woman contacted police about an iPod, GPS, and sunglasses stolen from her unlocked vehicle on East College Street.

• Nov. 17 at 2:07 p.m.: Police confiscated a metal grinder containing suspected marijuana. The item was found by Oberlin College security.

• Nov. 17 at 8:02 p.m.: A woman contacted police about a juvenile being out of control and throwing a plastic cup at her. The woman told police the child started yelling at her and threw a cup at her for not helping him quickly enough with his homework. A report said officers talked to the juvenile about how to interact with people in a calm manner without violence. The woman did not want to press charges.

• Nov. 18 12:31 a.m.: Michael Bellisario, 35, of Sheffield Lake, was arrested on two contempt warrants through the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office.

• Nov. 18 at 11:50 p.m.: Police responded a dispute on North Professor Street. A report said a suspect was standing outside yelling and when a woman told the suspect to be quiet the person charged her and hit her. The suspect threw a two-liter of soda through the woman’s window and broke it, the report said. The case is being forward to the city prosecutor for consideration of assault charges.

• Nov. 19 at 11:20 a.m.: Leena Mahmud, 51, of Sheffield Lake, was arrested on an active warrant through Oberlin Municipal Court.

• Nov. 19 at 2:03 p.m.: Officers responded to the Oberlin College security office for a missing wallet complaint. A report said a woman received a notification of possible fraudulent activity on her bank account. The woman told police she last saw the blue wallet Nov. 12 at the Black River Cafe.

• Nov. 20 at 4:34 p.m.: Lisa Crook, 30, of Lorain, was charged with theft of nine clothing items work $128.85 from Wal-Mart.
