A three-car collision Friday afternoon on US 20 in Oberlin resulted in one fatality.
The crash was near Precision Automotive and Performance and involved a pick-up truck and two cars. Wellington firefighters responded to the call.
Upon arrival, it appeared the truck and one of the cars collided head-on.
The truck had overturned on its passenger side with the driver trapped inside. The car came to a halt on the south side of US 20 with the driver pinned and unable to escape.
The driver of that car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The third car sustained minor damage and the occupants appeared to have no injuries.
The driver of the pick-up was freed from the truck by firefighters and was treated by the Central Lorain County Ambulance District before being taken by helicopter to the hospital.
