Nearly 15 exhibitors tested their goats’ ability to conquer six obstacles Wednesday in the pack and harness goat show. Each had to first answer questions about what should go into a goat’s backpack compared to a person’s and how much weight their goat would be able to handle. The young 4-H’ers then had to demonstrate that their goat could walk smoothly under guidance through six obstacles — plastic pipes, a ramp, cones, a set of steps, water, and logs.
