General Motors donated five car engines to the Lorain County JVS auto technology program to be used for student training. The engines are valued at $1,600.
“Students will disassemble the engines, identify and measure the components, then reassemble the engines,” said instructor Paul Schlacht. “Having five identical engines will enable me to work with the entire class on this process at the same time and allow students to work in teams. It will be a very beneficial project that will be done over the course of several months.”
