Nearly 180 pre-stocked grocery bags were donated Saturday to Oberlin Community Services. Oberlin IGA owner Leo Braido held a food drive where customers could purchase $5 or $10 grocery bags and donate them to the non-profit organization to give to residents in need this holiday season. OCS executive director Cindy Andrews said the event was outstanding. “We had over 120 bags of groceries donated by noon,” she said. The bags will be given to Oberlin residents this Friday along with a turkey.
