A new refrigerator was delivered Wednesday to Oberlin Community Services for its pantry. The non-profit organization was able to purchase the appliance through a Lorain County General Health District grant. The fridge will replace a smaller unit, suitable for a dorm, which sat inside the pantry. OCS food coordinator Alan Mitchell said it will help provide more to the residents and meet their needs. “We want to be able to support the need of the community with fresh fruits, vegetables, and dairy products,” he said.
