Ken Stanley was elected Tuesday to lead the Oberlin board of education in 2016. This will be his second year as the board’s president.

Board member Anne Schaum was unanimously chosen as vice president. She will also continue as the board’s liaison for the Lorain County Joint Vocational School.

The votes came during an organizational meeting of the school board for the start of a new year. Schaum and Stanley were sworn in by Oberlin district treasurer Angela Dotson.
