• Feb. 22 at 11:08 a.m.: John Reynolds, 21, of Oberlin, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He claimed ownership of a backpack with marijuana and grinders found by Oberlin College security and turned over to police.

• Feb. 22 at 4:41 p.m.: Walter Thompson Jr., 28, of Lorain, was charged with theft of $696 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

• Feb. 24 at 6 a.m.: A man told police he was shot at while on his way to work. He said he was walking past a house of East Lorain Street and saw a man and woman inside having sex. The couple allegedly got into a car and followed him. The detective bureau is investigating.

• Feb. 24 at 6:18 p.m.: A woman said her estranged husband followed her to the Hamilton Street ball park, bashed her car door open, and struck her in the head and arm. The matter has been forwarded to the prosecutor for consideration of charges.

• Feb. 26 at 10:30 p.m.: A woman said her young son ran away from home, possibly on his way to West Virginia. The boy’s ankle monitor was found lying in her yard.

• Feb. 27 at 9:13 a.m.: A 14-year-old boy was charged with possession of marijuana.

• Feb. 28 at 5:40 p.m.: While responding to a verbal disturbance on East Lorain Street, police arrested Gina Mikluscak on a warrant for child support.
