POLICE REPORTS


• June 12 at 3 p.m.: Police responded to a criminal damaging complaint on South Main Street. A man told police a tail light on a vehicle, a cloth cover over a bar, and an antenna cord were alledegly broken and rocks were taken from his pond.

• June 16 at 2:29 a.m.: Donna Garlock, 44, of Oberlin, was arrested on a warrant through the Sheffield Lake Police Department.

• June 16 at 4:45 p.m.: Lisa Minor, 19, of Oberlin, Lilly Palmer, 19, of Oberlin, and Eugene Truhlar, 22, of Oberlin, were charged with theft from Wal-Mart. A report said the three people stole 34 items worth $241.23.

• June 20 at 6:21 a.m.: Police responded to a criminal mischief and criminal damaging complaint on South Main Street. A report said seven to 10 juveniles were throwing trash in the McDonald’s parking lot and one man threw a rock at man’s car.

• June 21 at 4:14 a.m.: Bruce Bechtel, 23, of Oberlin, was charged with driving under the influence and driving under a license suspension. A report said Bechtel was found unconscious in his vehicle on South Main Street and told police he was drinking earlier in the day and took anxiety pills.

• June 21 at 11 p.m.: Marvin Edwards, 48, of Oberlin, was arrested on five warrants through the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office.

• June 22 at 2:15 p.m.: Adrian Corraliza-Vega, 38, of Lorain, was charged with theft of a pair of tennis shoes from the Shoe Dept.

• June 23 at 10:14 a.m.: A car stereo was reported stolen on South Main Street.

• June 23 at 12:28 p.m.: A man filed a criminal trespassing complaint against a woman who allegedly took a worker’s purse June 21 at the Feve and rummaged through it before leaving it in the bathroom.

• June 26 at 11:18 p.m.: A $500 television was stolen from a home on East Lorain Street.

• June 27 at 2 a.m.: Marvin Edwards, 48, of Oberlin, was charged with criminal trespass and theft of a bottle of alcohol from Wal-Mart.

• June 28 at 2 p.m: A $200 camera was stolen from a woman’s home on Union Street.
