One woman was taken to the hospital Wednesday after a reported roll-over crash near Eastwood Elementary School.

Oberlin fire chief Bob Hanmer said a Chevy Malibu appeared to have tumbled over and landed upright again on its wheels around 12:40 p.m. at East College and Park streets.

The crash also involved a Buick LeSabre. Its passenger was taken to Mercy Allen Hospital with minor injuries.

There were two people in each vehicle, Hanmer said. Another involved person went to the hospital later in the day, he said.

It’s believed the incident was caused when one of the vehicles ran a red light at the intersection.

No police report has been made available.
