Why is outdoor fitness equipment still wrapped up?

New outdoor exercise equipment in the 200 block of South Main Street from the recreation department will be ready for use after area surface repairs. About 250 feet of curbing and 1,000-square-feet of brick pavement are being replaced around the equipment, which will be set on a concrete pad, said public works director Jeff Baumann. The cost for the work is about $30,000. Baumann said it will be done later this summer after road repair projects around Oberlin are completed.
