Orders are being accepted online for the 2017 City Fresh season, which will run 20 weeks starting June 12.
City Fresh is a community building effort that gets fresh, local, organic produce back into low-income neighborhoods and offers it at a sliding price scale based on household income.
City Fresh works as a subscription service for vegetables, selling baskets of fresh produce grown within 75 miles of downtown Cleveland and delivered weekly to more than 16 different pickup locations throughout Cuyahoga and Lorain counties.

The price subsidization model, which relies on a combination of customers paying full price, volunteerism, and philanthropic support, provides top quality local fruits and vegetables at approximately a fourth the cost of grocery store prices.
Since 2006, City Fresh has delivered more than 150,000 of these baskets, strengthened the regional network of farmers by employing and training more than 100 small growers. Food Stamps/Ohio Direction are accepted.
