• April 16 at 5:18 a.m.: Corey Roberts, 24, of Elyria, was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and state refusal. A police report said Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers followed him north from Wellington and Oberlin officers stopped him in town. A report said he had peed his pants and was carrying a butterfly knife, which was turned over to police. Officers determined he had been at a party in Sullivan.

• April 17 at 1:20 p.m.: A woman said she was raped the previous night while walking on South Pleasant Street. She was intoxicated while talking to police, according to a report, and said she had also been drunk the prior evening. An unknown person, possibly driving a small white car, picked her up and she does not remember what followed until she was thrown out of the car at the University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center emergency room. The report said she left rather than seek treatment. The woman did not appear for a sexual assault exam. She later told police she did not want the alleged rape investigated further. The case was closed at her request.

• April 20 at 12:39 p.m.: Scott Parson was served with a warrant for a no-bond probation violation.

• April 21 at 5:20 a.m.: A glass pipe with suspected burnt marijuana was turned over to police by Oberlin College security.
