Former commissioner backs Pearson

To the editor:

Oberlin councilwoman Sharon Pearson has demonstrated integrity, hard work, and honesty during her first term on council.

These are the same leadership skills that Sharon demonstrated as a member of the Lorain County Visitor Bureau board where I first met her over 10 years ago. She continues to use these same leadership qualities on Mobility and Opportunity for a Vibrant Economy, where she serves as scribe, a cross-section of non-profit groups, educational, business, and elected officials, seeking to resolve the issue of public transit in Oberlin and across Lorain County.

As a Carlisle Township resident and former 20-year Lorain County commissioner, I ask that you consider re-electing Sharon Pearson to another term on Oberlin city council. She is working very diligently to be your representative.
