Two have stood for social justice

To the editor:

Oberlin has provided us with 54 years of gratifying, enjoyable life, and we hope to call Oberlin our home for the remainder of our lives. Having lived with racial and social injustices in our earlier lives, Oberlin has provided us with welcome change and relief.

People involved in governance of this city play an important role in sustaining policies of social injustices and issues of city maintenance. Many come to mind as I recall their service to this community, but two I admire for their past service and their willingness to serve us again. Ron Rimbert and Bill Jindra will get my vote for their years of experience and understanding and knowledge of city management.
